You Said This Was What You Wanted
A short poem about loving your life now – and embracing all of the things you said you wanted, as they are today. It’s not perfect, but it is what we have.

We decided to try something new this week – a quick rundown from a few of us on one simple question: How are you doing? Here are our answers.
Our “new normal” includes juggling all the things while trying to work from home, keep the kids going with schoolwork, and fixing all the meals.
Plan your self-quarantine with same thoughtfulness with which you would plan your dream vacation! Take one for the team, and take care of your family.
Working from home with kids home too is always challenging – but we are all up to the task! Take it one day at a time and enjoy the time you have together!
Let’s celebrate how far we have come in the last century! Celebrate women and all of our accomplishments! Celebrate all we do each day!
When mom gets sick, we still keep up with all the kid activities, but we also ask more of our kids, and they will step up to help us!
Being the Strong Mom can be so hard. We have all been there, and every time out or “no” is a lesson for our kids that will build them up to be good humans.
This year my theme is: a reminder that none of us are perfect, and life happens. Life keeps us busy, kids don’t follow a set plan, and that’s okay!
As moms, our kids look up to us to have all the answers. But, the reality is that we’re all human. “Mom Brain” hits all of us.
